ABOUT ME

I’m a photographer based in South Wales. As a self-taught photographer, I first picked up a camera back in 1973 in my native Liverpool. Shooting film until the advent of digital cameras. As a lifelong fisherman, it was obvious that water and the outdoors would feature heavily in my work. I have never liked being stuck indoors.

I have experience in a wide range of genres, from weddings to TV stills. Nature to the wee small hours of the night. I gained a bachelor’s degree in photography, graduating in 2022.

I find photography to be an aid to my mental health by calming me down and allowing me to get lost in the pursuit of what I am trying to capture. I find night photography to be a soothing pastime, and I can often be found wandering around at stupid o’clock, either along the coast or in cemeteries and graveyards.
