Alone in my Head

‘Alone in My Head’ began life in my second year of university at a time, when I was struggling with my mental health. I have Bipolar Disorder. In March 2020, we went into what would be the first of several government imposed lockdowns due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

I had to undertake a project for my ‘Final Major Project’ for the second year. After discussing my idea my tutor, I began to capture my life with a mental health disorder. Along with my counsellor Nik (my camera) I spent the wee small hours of night walking the streets when no other people were around. Being alone at night is my idea of heaven.

The website accompanying my project is no longer available due to my having an episode the other week. The images still exist and can be found in the gallery on this page. I will rebuild the website in time.
