Candid, relaxed portrait photography

No rigid restricting poses, just you naturally

Natural-looking portrait photography, with you at the core.

Candid, relaxed portrait photography because most people hate having their photo taken due to all the farting about. I get it, I really do. Point a camera at someone, and they invariably strike an unnatural, stiff pose that looks false and staged. That’s exactly what it is: fake.

Having a portrait taken should be stress-free for me, let alone you. How do you think I feel telling you to put your arm behind your head while trying to look sultry and whatever? That’s why I don’t do it. I’ll guide you through it if that is what you want, but I’m not going to tell you what to do.

Picture the scene: you’re having your photos taken, but it feels like you’re having a gas with your mate. There’s no pressure to pose; just be yourself, enjoy the moment.

Need something a bit stiff and old-fashioned? You won't find anything like that here; I'm not clamping anyone's head in a vice or shoving a pole up their backsides to keep them still (although thinking about it, there are a few people who could do with that). Have a squint at my formal portrait work.
